A glorious antique cocktail ring from the early 20^th Century (Circa 1920) boasting a magnificent emerald cut amethyst with a vivid violet hue, weighing an impressive 9.8 carats. 

Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.

The gallery is crafted in solid 9ct gold with beautiful forget me not and leaf motifs on each shoulder. It’s very striking and the stone sits in a pronounced claw mount, crowning it high and proud atop the finger.
